Yes to Britney, maybe to Michael on MTV Video Music Awards

Britney Spears's appearance on the MTV Video Music Awards last year may have been a train wreck, but that hasn't stopped the network from inviting her back.

MTV announced Wednesday that Spears will again kick off the music video awards show, scheduled for Sunday.

It will be something "fun and unexpected," rather than a dance performance, said network president Van Toffler.

'Best is yet to come' as Michael Jackson turns 50

Michael Jackson marked a personal milestone Friday: his 50th birthday.

The 13-time Grammy winner, who has sold more than 750 million albums, told ABC News' Good Morning America that he's "looking forward to doing a lot of great things ... I think the best is yet to come, in my true humble opinion."

Jackson talked to ABC by phone on Thursday.

I've got a busy week.

Doing some voice over work and songs, for a Korean book company called; "Reading Word" It's an elimentary English book teaching ESL to Korean children in Korea.

Gigging this weekend Friday in Brampton Golf and Country Club and Saturday at the Oshawa Rotary Club Rib Fest. Doing my Jerry Lee Lewis tribute on the main stage at 4pm and then again as "Me" at the Pavillion for 2 shows in the evening.

Come out for some freshly barbequed ribs and say Hi!

Suge Knight arrested on drug, assault charges

Suge Knight, a West Coast rapper and music mogul, has been arrested in Las Vegas on charges of drug possession and assault, police say.

Knight, whose real name is Marion Hugh Knight, was arrested in Las Vegas on Wednesday and remains in custody.
